International School ”Border policies from the Soviet Union to the EU : Russia and the Baltic States”; April 5-13

International School ” Border policies from the Soviet Union to the EU : Russia and the Baltic States ” was organized by the Centre for Independent Social Research in collaboration with the University of Erfurt, with financial support of Haniel Stiftung. Within the school , the participants visited St. Petersburg , Ivangorod, Narva , Tallinn .
Students of the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt , Faculty of Sociology and the European University in St. Petersburg heard lectures on political, economic and social aspects of cross-border policy , discussed them with representatives of NGOs and regional administrations , as well as group case analysis conducted cross-border relations and cross-border cooperation between Narva and Ivangorod .
